The Ebro, a river of poetry
This festival brings together local, national and international poets in an intimate and welcoming environment, where the poetic word becomes the protagonist. Through recitals, workshops and parallel activities, UN-I-VERS encourages creativity, dialogue and reflection, while promoting poetry as a vital form of artistic and cultural expression.
Benifallet, with its picturesque landscape and rich tradition, becomes for a few days the meeting point for poetry lovers, creating a magical and inspiring atmosphere that celebrates the diversity and beauty of poetic language.
L’Ebre, Riu de Poesia is jointly organized by the Centre d’Interpretació de la Jota de les Terres de l’Ebre (CIJTE) and the Benifallet City Council, under the artistic direction of La Simpàtica Produccions. It will have the support of several institutions in the territory in the field of Catalan Culture and Letters.
The association Centre d’Interpretació de la Jota de les Terres de l’Ebre – Casa de la Jota (CIJTE) is a non-profit cultural entity dedicated to the conservation and promotion of the popular music of Terres de l'Ebre, especially the Jota Catalana. The CIJTE is open to anyone who wants to share its project and objectives, which include the promotion of traditional music, the dissemination of the Jota Catalana, and the support of local music groups and singers. It also encourages collaboration with other associations at a national and international level and promotes the creation of publications and digital magazines related to popular music.
