Le Mas del Catxorro, pr\u00e8s de Benifallet, rev\u00eat une grande importance historique en tant qu'ancien centre de production, probablement li\u00e9 \u00e0 la production de vin durant l'\u00e9poque romaine. Sa situation strat\u00e9gique pr\u00e8s de la rivi\u00e8re facilitait les communications et le commerce \n\nMalheureusement, il n'y a aucun vestige \u00e0 voir ni rien \u00e0 visiter concernant cette p\u00e9riode de l'histoire o\u00f9 la Villa du Catxorro a \u00e9t\u00e9 si importante pour notre pass\u00e9 ; mais il est indispensable de conna\u00eetre notre h\u00e9ritage romain pour comprendre notre identit\u00e9 en tant que peuple. \n\nToutes les images relatives \u00e0 la Villa romaine proviennent du site du Patrimoine Arch\u00e9ologique et Pal\u00e9ontologique de Catalogne.\n <\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

La Villa Romaine du Catxorro, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 Benifallet, est un site arch\u00e9ologique d'une grande pertinence historique. Cette villa romaine apporte un pr\u00e9cieux t\u00e9moignage de la pr\u00e9sence et de l'activit\u00e9 des Romains dans la r\u00e9gion de la Ribera d'Ebre. Bien qu'elle ne soit pas ouverte au public, les d\u00e9couvertes arch\u00e9ologiques de cet endroit nous aident \u00e0 mieux comprendre la vie et les coutumes de l'\u00e9poque romaine dans le territoire. \n\nLe site est interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 comme un important centre de production, situ\u00e9 strat\u00e9giquement au bord d'une rivi\u00e8re qui facilitait les communications. Il est possible que cette villa fabriqu\u00e2t ses propres amphores pour contenir le vin qu'elle produisait elle-m\u00eame. En 1990, une nouvelle intervention arch\u00e9ologique a confirm\u00e9 le caract\u00e8re industriel de la villa dans le secteur connu sous le nom de \"La Premsa<\/b>\". \n\n <\/p>\n\n
